That's where we are finding them.  When we started digging our 2006 introductions for shipping we found that borers had eaten out the undersides of rhizomes and we couldn't tell they were there until we dug them.  At first we found big borers, but later they had gone into pupa stage.  It really cut down on the amount of stock we were able to ship.  The worst hit were the MTBs.
