The Tall Bearded Iris Society will hold its spring meeting in
conjunction with the AIS Region 8 Spring Meeting and Garden Tour in
Minneapolis, MN on June 8, 9 and 10.
Events at the combined Region 8 / TBIS meeting include two judges
training sessions on Friday, tours to 5 gardens and a banquet on
Saturday, and the TBIS business meeting on Sunday.
The meeting will be held at Holiday Inn North (U.S. 694 & Shingle Creek
Pkwy, Brooklyn Center, MN. Room rate is $89 single or double. For
reservations call 763-566-4140; be sure to mention you are attending the
AIS Meeting / Tour.
The registration fee for the 3-day meeting is $40 ($50 if postmarked
after May 6). Checks should be made payable to Iris Society of Minnesota
and sent to: Tim Moore; 8293 157th St. W; Apple Valley, MN 55124. The
fee includes the bus tour and Saturday lunch and evening banquet.
The actual TBIS business meeting will take place on Sunday, June 10;
there is no registration fee for this meeting. The meeting is scheduled
to begin at 8:30 a.m. Attendance at this meeting is not limited to TBIS
members.
