Hi all,
I am seeing some type of damage on the scapes that are coming up. The are somewhat bent and the buds do not look like they usually do. I am thinking that the really early TB's may be showing freeze damage? I am also seeing spots on some cultivars leaves and on the bloom stalks as well. this does not seem to coincide with which ones have bent scapes though.
Usually I have very little trouble with my TB's but with a warm winter and then the coldest day being after it was 80, I am certain the plants are at least stressed. The ones that seem to be doing the best are the ones in the worst soil.
Is there anything that can be sprayed on the iris for the spots? I remember something being posted on these problems, but do not remember what.
