Yes, please no ignorant flame wars on the iris list. Flames are just
plain rude and would be totally intolerable in a normal type of
conversation. They are an unfortunate by-product of the Net.
A gentle reminder of posting etiquette and relevance to the group
interest is occasionally necessary to maintain the value of belonging to
the list. (the iris list or any other mailing list) People belong to this
list to read and hear interesting items about irises.
However, it would be good to see just a little more care given to:
1. The SUBJECT heading in the e-mail. (is it relevant to what you are
writing about? If not, change it!
2. Check who you are SENDING the e-mail to. Takes just a second to do.
Anyway, enough of this stuff and back to iris discussions.
