Carolyn, your comments on VICTORIA FALLS are certainly valid...I have seen it
leaning in gardens all over the U.S., including southern California. It is
an iris that should not have won an AM, let alone the Dykes...that's my
opinion. BUT, I still grow it. Its fragrance is heavenly and it is a good
"breeder". Still, it is giving TBs a bad name with general gardeners (i.e.
non iris specialists), because it has been distributed so widely and has such
