RE Mapping and Marking

We are currently planting Guest irises for the 2005 AIS Convention and he
Convention and Guest Iris chairs are concerned that someone will move,
divorce, marry a non-iris person or win the lottery and no one will
know what is where.  They WANT MAPS.  Most of the Host gardens are not
computer literate and I can't possibly come up with a "one form
fit all" for mapping!  Any ideas?  How do you all "map"?
