It might like a change of scenery and position. Perhaps you could try
pulling it out, trimming its roots (if it has any) and planting it in a
pot of excellent soil until it shows signs of establishing itself.
Status Seeker has been malingering here for 18 months, and I have very
recently given it this treatment. It had scorch, and the four tiny new
growths were struggling to survive, so they are now being
'molly-coddled' in their pots.
I do not give up in a hurry, having had cv's do very poorly in one part
of my garden and outstandingly well in another.
Others may be able to offer better solutions.
