Re: COMP: toys

I've been reminded that a CD writer would be cheaper, but wasn't my
choice because the jumpdrive is so easy! Same technology as my camera,
no installation, no figuring out anything. I think I've worn out most
of my figuring out brain cells from overuse.

I have Windows 98, but only need to download a driver if I want to
secure files. Like you say, my computer just thinks it's another disk
drive, so I can copy/move files using Windows Explorer.

I think - guess I should back a few things up before I say all this <g>.

I think I can use my camera as a card reader to move files around also,
so I may invest in another card (just a card, not a jump drive) just for
storage. If I can figure out where to put the itty bitty thing to keep
it safe!

<If you use Windows 200 or XP, you
just need to plug them in. I don't work on Macs, but
I understand that you
just need to plug them in there also. Windows prior
to 2000 need a driver
for these to be useful. Steve>
