I don't know, Christy - seems like it would be hard to sort out since the two (daylength and temperature) are pretty strongly correlated, & that relationship might be stronger than what seems to be pretty erratic stalk production for many rebloomers.
Were you thinking that maybe the correlation of temp and daylength varies among zones or north to south or?
Way back I thought I had noticed that some TBs seemed to bloom about the same date each spring, regardless of weather, while others would bloom earlier or later, earlier with early warmth, later with continuously colder spring.
I always thought the very late bloomers and the strictly too early/too late cycle bloomers (i.e., English Cottage) seemed to be more daylength regulated. But definitely no data. Just impression.
<Has anyone thought to use a spreadsheet with the beardeds to map both day length and temperature to see if a pattern emerges?
