Mike,

Now, you are being somewhat tantalizing yourself!

Yesterday you hinted that Harmony might be derived from I. aphylla; today
you make the simple declarative statemen

> Harmony is one half aphylla.

Then, you proceed to say:

> The pedigree of Ethiop Queen was
> not given in the registration and the question has always been, is
> there more here? Either Black Forest STRONGLY expresses the Harmony
> aphylla gene pool or there was more lurking behind the other parent.

But you don't say what is the pedigree of Ethiop Queen. I have an
aphylla-free pedigree for it from McKee's "Fifty Years of Iris", which is
not always the most reliable source, that goes as follows:

ETHIOP QUEEN (Schreiner, 1938) (Grace Sturtevant x Indian Chief) X The
Black Douglas

Does this agree with Phil's and Keith's pedigree?

Thanks for the RRRR's!!
