Hi talkers,
Have been offline due to a bad virus situation that has since been professionally corrected.
I wanted to thank Jim for making the suggestion about planting a plastic tag in front of a named iris and also putting a regular marker in front. What a great idea!!! Deer aren't the only ones that dig around iris and mess up the tags. The neighbors dogs, turkeys (birds of all kinds) racoons,Snow and sometimes people!! Public gardens have a terrible time with this!
What a great way to handle this problem.

Zone 7/8 Heat map said zones 5-10 for my zipcode,go figure?
We have never had this much snow in twenty years, am worried about rot(for the first time)and and expecting another storm.
