Can't write that name correctly on this e-mail.
I think it's gorgeous, but I guess tastes vary. I've always liked striped
patterns, and this reminds me of the striped patterns so common in Iris
variegata (which is one of my favorite species). I know stripes don't
appeal to everyone, but I'm glad to see that they are still being bred and
that oringal twists on the theme are still possible. I don't like the form
very much (does it open more?), but then I'm one for old fashioned form,
and never did like horizontal falls.
On the flip side, I will wait to get it. If it's a good grower, I suspect
it will be a favorite for a long time and stay available. I can't justify
$85.00 for one plant, nor even the price for three. If I was growing Iris
as a business, I might.
