I certainly don't need the calcium from the milk (in NM), but the other ingredients sound like great fertilizer. Some of the house plants are in potting mixes, so even the calcium might be good for a while (though there is already too much in the water). At first I hesitated with the milk, because of the calcium, but it seems to be in a form that doesn't bother anything.

Actually we have a lot of calcium in our water too, but the key to it may be that it is in a form that is not readily usable by the plants whereas the calcium in the milk is. Chemistry is everything. Is there a soil scientist in the group who could comment on this?
