Finally had a chance to look a your web-site. Very nicely constructed, I'm interested as we hope to do one in the next year.

However I noticed that you had lost track of a considerable number of your crosses because of tag failure. I have found that the easiest, if not cheapest, way is to use 3x1" plastic twist ties that we label plants with. I write on them with a garden marker. This tag the stays with the cross right up to germination. So you don't have to write new tags for storing or soaking your seeds etc. That tag just tags along with the seeds. If a cross fails I'll reuse the tag for another cross on that plant or cross out everything and use the other side with another (make sure the garden marker is nice and writing well). So long as the tag is properly attached at the time of cross, and you regularly check that it's not pushed off by the developing seed pod you have your seeds identified for every stage of the first year.

Hope this helps
