I also have some that dont' germinate at all, but this wasn't a problem
with germination.  I was trying to get the germinated seeds out of the
seed pots so I could put the pots back outdoors for another cold cycle.

As it turned out, it was so cold on the sunporch that they got their
second chilling cycle <indoors>. :-(

<.....Most seasons I have at least one cross that doesn't sprout
                   anything.  ......

With these extra special crosses, try dividing up the seed?  Put  half,
or at
                   least some of them, in a pot outside?  This way you
have a  chance either
                   way.  Early germination if they survive, but later
plants in  case something goes   wrong.       Betty W. in  South-central
