Does anyone on the list keep historical records for their local Iris
Society?
Someone in the Maine Iris Society thought it would be a good idea to
have all our records in one place and appointed me in charge of the
project! The Secretary has many years of meeting minutes and someone
else has show records. If I can get them to hand it all over - what
then?
They think this will be a massive project (groan), but I haven't
figured out why - yet. Get it all together - put it in one or two
boxes and label the boxes, right? I'm obvoiusly missing something.
Clues anyone?
There is a Historical Committee listed in the AIS Bulletin. Anyone
know what its function is and if it would be a resource?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome. I would be
especially interested in what records are kept by other local iris
societies.
