Did I mention, Walter Moores and Anner? I have learned a lot and enjoy their posts very much and Heather P. ...Well, I cant name everyone here.
Jan gave some possible reasons for lurking. I do have difficulty with subject headings and used to fear reprimands (no more) and I probably have and will ask stupid questions (there are no such things). I know some one else is more knowledgeable (Thank Heavens) .
I am no computer whiz. I can't figure how to get to the chat , have tried on numerous occasions and just cant do it! I am stupid! I really don't think that of myself, however, I have a poor memory and depend on books, shelves of them to refer to again and again. I may need to ask the same question more than once or just lurk and hope it gets asked again by some one else. I have used the archives but hate them! Sorry , they are nice to have but guess I am just too slow at using this computer correctly. Also lack time to read through them all.
You have some very well educated growers here. Some really scientific stuff is discussed and needs to be . I learn from it but dont care to get too deeply involved in some of it. I don't hybridize any thing. Although I think daylilies would be fun to hybridize and to name!
We spend the most time in our garden with the roses, they are very demanding if they are to really perform for us. Love them tho.
I love lurking and hope it is an OK thing.
