Thank you, sweetie. Glad to have been able to help.
<< I am no computer whiz.... I have a poor memory and depend on books,
shelves of them to refer to again and again. I may need to ask the same
question more than once or just lurk and hope it gets asked again by some one
else. I have used the archives but hate them! Sorry , they are nice to have
but guess I am just too slow at using this computer correctly.>.
I've got a row of iris books right here, too. No one can remember all that
stuff and no one has to. That is why there are reference books, and smart
people like you know that! Now, what problem are you having with the
Archives? Is it picking out the best key word or what? You can write me
privately if you don't want to answer to the list, but if you are having
problems someone else might be, too. Maybe we can help with that?
<< We spend the most time in our garden with the roses, they are very
demanding if they are to really perform for us. Love them tho.>>
Yes, they are wonderful. And wonderful with irises and other perennials.
Several of us are interested in roses here. I've got old roses, including
some teas and noisettes which I like a lot. If you aren't growing some of
those, do try them. They love our heat and humidity. And manure. They adore
manure.
<< I love lurking and hope it is an OK thing.......[snipped] Does this mean
that people that can't coope can jump? Hope we can still lurk and learn.>>
Donna, no one wants lurkers to go away. It is a little creepy knowing there
are some that have never introduced themselves, but no one wants anyone to
go away, or wants anyone to behave in any way other than the way they are
most comfortable and happy. Sometimes the old timers get tired of writing the
same answers over and over, or trying to come up with ideas about things to
talk about, and we hope the lurkers will speak so we can hear some fresh
viewpoints, or learn something new, but everyone who is kind and cheerful is
always welcome here.
