Hi all,

If you are trapping cats, it is a kindness to drape the trap with
a towel, as soon as the cat is caught. This helps them to calm
down.

Many tame pets who have had some trauma in their lives, would
appear to be "feral" in a trap. Probably half of our indoor
pet cats, would seem so.

Trap and kill won't stabilize the cat population -- TNR (trap
neuter return) does -- you return them, spay/neutered, to where
you trapped them. Fewer fights, fewer kittens, a more stable
cat population (trap and kill will almost never get it to go
to zero). www.alleycat.org, Alley Cat Allies, has a lot of info
on this.

OK, back to iris.
