Whether a plant is invasive depends on the growing conditions it's given.
(Only white clover, quackgrass, and knapweed... no irises... are truly
invasive here.)

Psuedacorus can be invasive if allowed free rein in any area with ample
water. I collect psuedacorus and its hybrids but have no problems with any
of them due to the fact that my soil has a difficult time holding moisture.
The dry areas around their beds act as a natural boundary.

BTW, HC (a species-x) isn't yellow and doesn't look remotely JI and unless
there's been some wonderful breakthrough in breeding JIs I don't know about,
there are currently no yellow JIs available. Yellow JI types can be assumed
to be the product of a species-x and I wouldn't worry about too many of them
spreading wildly *or* setting tons of seed.
