Hey Gerry,
Is there a separate Awards & Honors Ballets for iris garden judges?
The Symposium is mailed to everyone and everyone is asked to cast a ballet
so should it not be an actual representation of each region? If all the
ballets were "write-ins" of every member's favorite 10 to 20 irises then we
would get a could idea of a flower's favorably and popularity in the region
and even nationally by the average society member.
A separate ballet of the judges' and awards committee's preselections could
then go the garden judges for their own awards.
I am not familiar with what is already in place so please let me know if
some of these procedures already exist to some extent.
Cheers,
Iris Moose
