Who couldn't be in favor of individual regional polls?
(providing there are enough vol. folks to work on
tallying the write-in votes?

Hmmm. Hold on. ;-) There are other factors that come
into play besides the Regional TB Popularity Polls and
the tabulation of write-ins.
1) For starters, I object to the Tall Bearded
Popularity Poll being the official AIS poll of
favorites. (I also grow many more bearded irises than
beardless -I am not Mrs. Siberian as one person
addressed me in a private post, I am Mrs. Gallagher
;-)
2) I also think that the designation on the AIS web
page referring to the wrongly-named _symposium_ of
Tall Bearded should be changed like yesterday. Duh. I
can't believe that Chris Hollinshead came up with that
one..but maybe he did. ;-)
3)If the AIS Bulletin has not published the other
classes' Popularity Polls, that should take
precedence, IMO, over a listing of over 20 regional TB
pop. polls.
4) At least change the name to reflect the reality
which is the Tall Bearded Popularity Poll (nix the
symposium which it definitely is not)
5) I think the Regional Pop. Poll should be limited to
50 of ANY class.

No. I agree with John on a call for volunteers in the
regions.

have? It is time to step up to the keyboard (so to
speak). You want something, figure out how to get it
done. <<<<
Have to go back in the garden to dig, divide and
plant,
