Cult: fresh seeds vs. waiting

I really should have paid closer attention whilst you were
discussing this topic. That said, I DID go back and read
the archives. I only have a few seed pods with ripe seeds
(my first time hybridizing) and I live in the upper midwest
(Zone 5 - SE WI). First frost is generally mid-October and
hard freeze not long after that. Generally lots of snow
cover and cold temps 'til April - GENERALLY.

So do I stick my seeds in my fridge until spring or plant
them now and hope for a long growing season?

Thanks in advance.

trepidation at all this . . . .
