Which Iris variegata do you have? I have four at the moment.
1. yellow and brick red (the standard plant) with clear yellow standards
2. yellow and brick red with mottled standards
3. white and violet of 1.
4. white and violet of 2.
5. a larger form of 3.
#2 appears sterile.

In Ottawa where the weather continues to be ideal for irises. About 30
ensata seedlings now blooming, almost all coloured varieties of the wild
form although a few of the breed varieties.
