Re: IRIS LACUSTRIS

From: Francesca R Thoolen <IRISGIRL@compuserve.com>

Thank you for responding so quickly to my request re I. lacustris. I shall
write to Tony and see if he can supply. I. lacustris is a beardless iris
and this fall would be the best time to transplant it. I have had good luck
sending beardless irises to France with fairly good success. I discovered
if you send it Airmail express it gets there in 5 days time. The last time
they didn't even open the box for inspection, said my friend. Of course it
is expensive, but at least he got it and now, not 2 months from now! He was
willing to pay for the postage, of course. I shall inform him also of the
possibily of poor succes in transplanting and to watch over it like a
mother hen.-FRT.
