Where the weather is extreme, like here in Phoenix, laying iris divisions
out in the sun to dry is not really a good thing. Our club recommends
drying them in the shade or inside the house and then moving them to a
location that is fairly cool (80 to 85 degrees) and has a lot of air
circulation until planting time.
