My Post Commander is amenable to almost anything that leaves less lawn to mow.

We have beds in shapes of: triangle; diamond; oval; U-shape; L-shape; round; square;
V-shape; rectangle but no rows. These are heavy on irises but have some with irises of
all classes as companion plants to lilium, hemerocallis, peonies, etc.

Siberian irises bloom here at the same time as peonies, lupines, heuchera and our
collection of hardy geraniums and aquilegia. JIs bloom beautifully with hemerocallis and
other late bloomers. Of course in the far northern White Mts. of New Hampshire (Zone 3),
everything is late compared to the rest of the universe.

We are just in the middle of Median bloom and only one TB is out and one historic TB and
one little Siberian. The temps were 46 degrees (F) this morning so blooms on the medians
are lasting forever. The high temp. yesterday was 51 degrees (F). brrrr
