After being intemidated by Bill Marriot's TB El Cerrito and Barry Blythe's TB
Pagan Dance, J. Weilers yellow selfed Lemon Custard opened a bloom today.
It is believed in iris racing circles the aging Lemon Custard (1981) entered
the June race in an effort to redeem herself in the eyes of the present
owner, the owner having been somewhat perturbed by Lemon Custards addiction
to persistant rot (3 years running).
Bettin' on some July bloom (real longshots)
