Prevent Seedling Rot! Never! I see a couple of recent posts on keeping the
little fellers well-watered. I try to, but unlike the adults I don't get
much rot in the babies. I think the fans are too small for the outer leaves
to open and hold water, so even overhead watering seems okay for the babies.
And if not, I just rationalize my abusive behavior by caliming to be taking
a Darwinistic approach. I didn't pay $45 for that one; if it rots so easily
it needs to be pampered (as many intros do), I'd never ask anyone else to
pay $45 for it either. So kill a few, and anything worth keeping will
survive; and I won't need as much room or time to line out my seedling when
they move from the trays (currently the biggest plastic things 4" or more
deep that I can find at 99Cents Only Store).
