In my zone 6 public garden only two irises can be counted on to bloom before
September. One is Earl Hall's TB VIOLET RETURNS, not the best form but it
does rebloom in July or August. In both the public garden and in my Zone 5 home
garden, our SDB SHOUT (02) repeat blooms in the summer. I have trouble
getting IMMORTALITY to bloom in spring or fall. Others that rebloom in
September/October at the zone 6 garden include PINK ATTRACTION, MATRIX and QUEEN DOROTHY
from Earl Hall along with his SDB LITTLE SHOWOFF. Lowell Baumunk's IB
MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S EVE sometimes reblooms as does TB HARVEST OF MEMORIES and SDB BABY
BLESSED and our SDBs SILK AND VELVET, HARLEM NOCTURNE and PICASSO PRINT (all
from the same cross). We also get occasional repeat bloom on our MDBs PIXIE
KISSES and MIDAS MITE. Bob Hollingworth's Siberian CORONATION ANTHEM has some
repeat bloom about a month after initial bloom. That's about it--none of the
California "rebloomers" rebloom here.
