Hi- I have the Sunset Gardening cd. For me it is just alright. Not indepth
enough
but alright in a general way. I would like more indepth info. So perhaps one
of the other CDs which Ian gave such good info on. Thanks Ian, I'll look a
bit deeper for a better gardening CD.
Jeff, does Ester plan to introduce her SA seedling?
Rusty, your very funny, sending a scent to someone your not happy with
is a bit wild, but lots of other unthinkable things are everyday occurances
these days!
Marte, I've not known iris to rebloom on old sockets, I thought they
came from new stock. (The socket is the location where the stem cradles the
buds)
I grow both "Blessed Again" and "New Idea". They bloom nicely in the
spring but I rarely get rebloom, probably due to how many hours of enough
heat and sunshine.the plants get. I do feed and water throughout the summer,
so I don't think there is a culteral reason as to why there is rarely
rebloom even on RE anything . Too much shade from either my neighbors 100'
fir or my own.
A special hand must be given to KathyGuest for her delightful and
sharing reports at keeping those of us who did not get to the "National Iris
Convention". I hesitate to say "national" as that sounds a bit like Canada
and many other people from around the world are not a part of these
conventions. They are indeed a very important part of why the conventions
have the flavor and design they do. If you have never been, do try to attend,
delightful is a simple explanation !
Hope you all have a delightful summery day.
