John,
Upon reflection, I understand more why the rule about not being tutored by
family members. Family members are rarely impartial -- being either tougher
or more lenient. I know that I'm tougher on my kids when I'm teaching them.
I will know better next time. My first experience at apprenticing at a show
was quite positive.
