Our local AIS affiliate, the Logan Iris Society, has adopted the practice
of having a pre-sale at half off the regular price for members when we set
up for our annual sale. <<
Good idea!
Now that you mention it, our local library puts on a book sale every year.
Volunteers unload boxes, set up sale tables, and organize books. Books can
be purchased at the same low price they're offered for to the public, but
we get a chance at them first!
The past couple of years there's been no shortage of volunteers and a
number of regulars have been showing up early for work. :)
