Sounds good, but I will stick with what I said. A local iris society is not a
charismatic cult but a group of enthusiasts with a common interest. A
interesting and vital leadership is unquestionably to be preferred to a
sluggish one, but the membership should not freight the leadership with the
responsibility for generating the excitement in the group. They should move
purposefully and enthusiastically toward meeting their individual and chapter
needs and addressing the AIS mission. Any group that requires constant
cheerleading or subsists on transfusions of passion and energy from the
leadership will not have much to offer.
