Re: TB: Dykes contender Fancy Woman

For what it's worth, I have FANCY WOMAN, got it in summer 2000, it's
alive, tried to send up a bloom stalk last spring that was killed by
late freeze injury, but went on to make an increase or two. So I'd give
it an above average for TBs here. Not a rousing recommendation, but at
least it is alive, which ranks it above EDITH W. and HONKY T.B.

Walter, do you have the names of the other highish AM award winners
handy for the eligible years?

For the future (?), ART DECO (Schreiner 1997) VE 33" is threatening to
take over my garden after being planted last Oct/Nov. I think I better
take the Reemay off and let it get frozen stiff a few times to see if
that will slow it down some. Why in the world did I buy an early
bloomer??? Somebody must have told me this one was tough. I'm
impressed. It may never get to bloom here, but it sure does grow.
