Re: Arilbreds (Medians?)


Dear Ellen:  I had rather good success with aril-breds up in Canada forty
years ago. I think they don't mind a cold winter with snow cover at all.
 What is hard on them is the open winters with changes from warm to cold. I
grew the oncogelias (true aril hybrids) in pots, putting them in the top of
the garage in summer, then back out into the ground in the fall.  Lloyd Z  in
