All you folks that are worried about whatever get sprayed
on the ground or Iris or other pants, might take it a bit
slower. Why? Because whatever the home garden uses is about
2% of what is used by the smallest Golf course! I know!
I worked for 6 months at Honolulu Country Club as one of
the grounds keepers. I've got big news for you, there was
almost NO DAY that went by that the head guy, who had the
state linc. for spraying, wasn't out there doing just that!
One time there was a few weeds along a stream bank, which
if pulled out might have take 1.5 days to do. Instead, he
went out with a spray that was NOT suppost to be used around
water and sprayed the area. Every living thing in that stream
died from that point on down to Peal Horbor. This was not the
1st time it had been done.
I have talked to other golf ground keepers and the same story
can be said to happen in one form or another at all of them.
What a home gardener uses in one year, gets used in one week
at any golf course.
