Hi Dorothy,

Would it help to know that we got about two feet of the white mulch this
week?  This is after a few weeks of dry mildish weather so that the bulbs
right by the house were sprouting.  If you can imagine it -- snow had melted
about two feet out from the house with bulbs sprouting, and about three feet
of snow still on the ground everywhere else at the time.  We're back to
about five feet of snow now and the bulbs are completely covered again.
