I use flexible plant tags that are usually wrapped around other plants I
buy. I cut them in half lengthwise to make two tags. I use a sharpie to
write the information on the tag then wrap it around the pod and staple
it, with the information on the INSIDE. That label goes with the seeds,
then follows them to the seedling tray, then on to the plants as they
are lined out in the garden. After 4 years, they're still legible and I
have no qualms about throwing them away then.
