Re: HYB: when you run out of tag/labels...

<Two years ago (my first year hybridizing) I used index cards cut up
into smaller squares with the cross written in ballpoint pen (i.e.
"Thornbird x Satan's Mistress").  Let's just say that was a disaster!
Eight weeks of sun & rain (not to mention the biting, chewing, and
web-spinning bugs) rendered half of the tags incomprehensible.>

Oh rats, there goes another great idea - did the paper fall apart or was
the ballpoint illegible?  Or both?

Rumor has it the old WalMart had them - nobody is sure whether or not
they made the trip to the new WalMart  Superstore, which is a fur piece
from here.

I should have plenty of tags again in a few days as my unsuccessful
crosses start falling apart...
