We have used several things over the years, depending on what kind
of grass you have. Hi-Yield's Bermuda Grass Killer (formerly Poast) is good
as is fusillade. We have sprayed both right over the iris with no damage to
the iris, although I can not swear whether or not the fusillade is labeled
for iris.
