RE: CULT: Leading Edge Labels

I've used the Brother TZ tape system for about 8 years now and am very happy
with it. I have several test labels in one of my beds facing south. The tz
tape is dated June 2000 and is still clearly readable, although slightly
cracked. I was testing a paint pen from Uni (Fine Line PX-21) that seems to
last very well but Sharpie bought Uni and the Sharpie Oil Based Paint Pen
doesn't seem to last nearly as well. As to the Sharpie "Permanent" marker
it's only permanent for 6 months or so. I also manufacture the legs from
stainless steel so they last forever. Ensata, I think, said the TZ tapes
lasted up to 10 years in their garden so I think the TZ tape combined with
the stainless steel legs make the markers very reasonably priced. I use the
Ptouch 1500pc that allows me to use a computer database and just point and
click to print the labels.
