Re: CULT: Leading Edge Labels

I've been using the Brother P-Touch laminated labels for 3-4 years and I am
extremely happy with them. My garden is in all day sun and the labels don't
fade. The labels don't fall off either, and have endured lots of rain and
snow. Internet / mailorder sources for the label cartridges are often cheaper
than local office supply stores.

Subject: [iris] CULT: Leading Edge Labels

Greetings.

I appreciate that folks are busy but I'd like to know what the current
wisdom is with regard to labels, please.

More specifically, I'd like to know whether those of you who have used the
Brother P-Touch label making system still are happy with it, and which current
models of same, and which labels have proven the most satisfactory and
durable over time.

Also, I'd like to know what pen those of you who use a pen-marked label are
finding best these days. At one time there was much said of a "paint marker"
style obtainable from Walmart as opposed to the Sharpie which fades long
term. Is this still the case? Are you still using the cut up plastic window
blinds?

Anyone got any sort of a new system that is economical and really
satisfactory long-term that they would care to recommend? I'm not talking
about maps.

Thank you so much.

Cordially,
