One must remember that a lot of what is written on Iris-talk is quoted,
requoted, rephrased, confused, and full of personel opinion and folk lore.
One would need to do much more than check scrupulously with the author, one
would also need to analyse the content of what was said, thoroughly, in
which case, why not just ask the 'knowledgeable' persons to write articles
for the AIS bulletin?
I must support Anner in her objection to this idea, and I hope others have a
darn good think about what she is saying. I know from experience, that many
ideas that come from the hype and excitement of convention meetings and
such, are untenable in the light of day.
We may risk losing the valuable contribution of list members (such as Anner)
who fear being misquoted.

As for internet auctions - count me out.
Now that we have a survey machine, how about asking members what they think
John?
