SDB: Bloom imminent!

Hi all,
I was "sick as" today, and couldn't talk (what a blessing) so cancelled all
classes, and spent the day between my bed and the garden beds (and the
internet).
The fresh air and sunshine was very therapeutic and a gentle clean up in the
garden was not too taxing. I potted a few rz's for friends, planted some
winter vegies, did a little weeding, and cleaned up the dead iris leaves.
My efforts were rewarded with the discovery of a 6" bloomstalk on BABY
BLESSED. I gave it a sip of water (we are suffering drought conditions here)
and I eagerly await the bloom!
