As always, I'm especially interested in cultivars that come thru up and
down weather and late freezes and still produce normal nice bloom.
That's my 'normal' weather (though not as much this year - spectacular
bloom season). Please share. Thanks.
The late chill (several days with morning temps at about 33o) did affect
some blooms, but mostly affected petal development (distortion & missing
parts) on first blooms.
A few cultivars are still sending up stalks, well past main bloom & some
look like they are still waiting for spring - the January warm spell
followed by cold seems to have really confused some of these guys.
