I received it today and flipped through it and from my cursory
'inspection', I think it is one of the finest and most complete
iris cats. I have seen. He has a special deal for trans-border
shipments....he told me this at the Japanese iris symposium in
Toronto (Oct. '97). Depends on the amount of the order...once
I find it, I will post it.
A few SDBs opening up and the favorite so far is 'Jewel Baby'.
The MDBs are happily still putting on their show along with
the daffodils, tulips, Trollius (globe flowers which are a
wonderful striking addition to the border especially in the
north where they do superbly) and various other things that
are making our lives and the passerbys' lives more pleasant.
The forget-me-nots (Myosotis sylvestris) are blooming profusion
in blue waves all over the property along with Viola and
Convallaria (lilies-of-the-valley).
Cheers,
Ellen
