John, What I found made a real difference was holding the PCN seeds at
about 55oF for nearly a month. They slowly started to germinate. They do
better at that temp than putting them in the fridge. The rest of the
seeds (not PCNs) worked OK by putting them in the fridge for a month and
then alternating one day in the fridge with one day out of the fridge.
That takes nearly another month for roots to grow and green leaves.
