Wow Maureen,
You really are far ahead in Ottawa!
I have only one (1!) bud forming on a SDB 'French Wine' that is only a
couple of inches above ground level.
Everything here seems to have stopped growing lately, because of the rain.
We got a wicked hail storm earlier this evening and all my tulips are toast.
Maybe the iris know something about the weather up here that we people
don't, that's why they aren't sending up bloomstalks!
