O.T. San Diego fire

Just a line to tell all that Steve and Sherri Rocha did not lose their
home to the FIRE.  There's was only one of the two homes that did not
burn up on their road.  I understand that they lost out buildings,etc:
They were warned in time to move horses, dogs and family to safe ground.
They still do not have telephone service or electricity but are back
doing their best to cope.  The phone company issued them cell phones but
with limited time so we have not talked to them. They are trying to deal
with insurance companies, etc.  Do you suppose that their love for iris
and the ground they were planted in saved their home?  Most of us pull
out trees or anything else that will shadow our beloved plants.  I will
post their mailing address so you might send them a note.    Steve,

Their may have been other "irischat-hort" families effected, I only know
of them.
